    SP+ Hospitality is currently appointing new Manager Trainees! – Join our Hospitality Leadership Academy today!

    Individuals will be in training full time for a 12 week period to eventually oversee an entire high end hotel Valet Parking Operation. This program is a "Fast Track" training curriculum; however advancement will depend on your performance, relocatability and train-ability.

    What do I do as a Manager In Training?

    As our newest team member, you will be an integral part of the warm welcome and fond farewell process.

    Some duties include:

    • Providing, and leading others to provide, 5 diamond/star services to each guest in order to portray an image of professionalism that is guaranteed to ensure total guest and client satisfaction.
    • Responsible for proper functioning of the shift and ensuring all policies approved by SP+ Hospitality, are adhered to by subordinates.
    • Enhancing the well-being of each guest and associate to ensure a positive memorable parking or employment experience.

    What is the Program Training Goal?

    The goal of the MIT Program is to provide practical, hands-on training to associates who have the potential and desire to move into a management position. Ideally the student will complete the training within a 3 month period. Graduation from the program involves:

    • Maintaining exceptional performance and growth throughout the program.
    • Proven ability to grasp and implement management concepts.
    • Completion of MIT Checklist.
    • Completion of 4 days USA Management University.
    • Delivering Sales Presentation (final project) with glowing reviews!

    Essential Qualifications:

    1. Ability to communicate effectively in English in both written and oral forms.
    2. Must have at least 2 + years' experience in management in the service, hotel or parking industry.
    3. All candidates should be fully relocatable anywhere within the United States.
    4. Intermediate Microsoft Office and internet knowledge.
    5. Strong Work Ethic and Effective Leadership Skills.
    6. Ability to manage a team effectively
    7. Must be at least 18 years of age.
    8. Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
    9. Must have a professional appearance and demeanor.
    10. Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
    11. Ability to work flexible hours to participate in evening and weekend events.
    12. Must enjoy serving people and having fun!
    13. Drug test and criminal review will be administered.

    Physical requirements:

          1. Ability to sprint short distances.
          2. Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 6 or 8 hours, less break)
          3. Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
          4. Ability to work in extreme elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, ect.
          5. Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds (signs, luggage, etc.)
          6. Ability to stand, walk, or sit alternately, depending on specific daily demands. Approximately
          7. 75% of the time is spent on feet and 25% sitting
          8. Up to 50% of time, may have to perform the following physical activities: bend / stoop / squat;crawl; climb stairs / ladders; kneel; push or pull; twists torso; reach above shoulder level.
